Natura Wines Partners with The National Forest Foundation to Plant 10,000 Trees

For each bottle of Natura’s organic wine that is purchased during the month of April (Earth month), Natura Wines will donate to the National Forest Foundation for the planting of a native tree in a national forest in need of reforestation.

Natura Wines, produced by Emiliana Organic Vineyards, the world’s leading organic winery, and the National Forest Foundation (NFF) have announced their partnership to restore forests by planting 10,000 trees throughout National Forests in the U.S. in 2016. The partnership will begin this spring, and will focus on shared values of bringing people together and promoting the protection and enjoyment of our National Forests.

The program is anchored in the natural fit between the core principles of Natura and the NFF. Kicking off in earth month, each time a bottle of Natura wine is purchased, Natura will donate to the National Forest Foundation to plant a native tree in a national forest in need of reforestation, up to 10,000 trees.

“Natura is a brand that is constantly inspired by nature and is born from a philosophy that you get back what you put into the earth,” said Lauren Marano, Natura Wines’ Brand Director. “Our consumers also tend to be mindful and lovers of all things outdoors – so for us, it makes total sense to leverage our synergies and support such an action-oriented initiative.”

“We are pleased to partner with Natura to expand our reforestation efforts in 2016. Partners like Natura help us address reforestation needs on our National Forests and help to enhance the many benefits that National Forests provide to the American public,” said Bill Possiel, NFF President.
